Last day to join 4-Week Coaching – starts tomorrow

, today is the last day to enroll in my 4-week #treadLIFT and #moderation365 coaching program that begins tomorrow!

It’s a consistency coaching program where we’re going to be keeping one another accountable for the holidays—nothing restrictive, just #moderation365 and working hard in the gym with short-duration (30 mins or less!) workouts and checking in with one another along the way.

It’s simple. I hope you join. You can get all the details HERE

A few years back, I used to run a program called the 4-Week Fat Loss Jump Start. It was essentially a competition diet done over 4 weeks, with the goal of “tightening up” for a short period of time, and then slowly figuring out what might work for you long term.

I loved that program. And hundreds of people got great results on it.

But when I look back, my only regret about the program was the emphasis on following a plan. I hate meal plans. They work for a time, normally the first time you diet. But over time, they do us a disservice because they give us a false sense of control. One that we become addicted to but in the end keeps us dependent and unable to think for ourselves. Blindly following meal plans means losing touch with our biofeedback sensations—like hunger and cravings—and even if we actually even LIKE the food. No thanks!

So the key is instead, starting with balance, getting in tune with your own body and what it needs to achieve the 3 key elements to sustainable eating and the aim of your Daily Nutritioal Commitments or DNCs (a concept I will be teaching in the 4-week program):
  1. Enjoyment
  2. Effortlessness
  3. Effectiveness
And that takes a different approach than just trying to white-knuckle your way through a meal plan given to you by some random trainer who doesn’t know you nearly as well as you know yourself.

I remember when I was prepping for figure competitions, after each one I’d balloon back up 20 lbs and then get so disgusted and mad at myself that I felt the only solution was to diet for another show.

Restrictive meal plans and constant dieting is not a long-term solution.

And moreover, constantly losing and gaining and losing and gaining not only takes a huge toll on us physiologically (our metabolism doesn’t continue to respond the same way), but our psychology!

But when you learn to heal your relationship with food—not obsessive, not emotional, not a rollercoaster of depriving and binging—you learn that the BEST “plan” for you is the one YOU create over time based on getting mindful, listening to your body, honoring your personal preferences, your schedule, your likes and dislikes and how you feel when you eat certain foods.

In other words, unlearning the old “dieting” mindset and doubling down on you, thinking for yourself!

Because just like depriving yourself is stressful, so is overindulging all the time. They are two sides of the same coin. Which is why in the 4-Week #treadLIFT and #moderation365 Coaching Program, I’ll be teaching all the tools and strategies you need to NAVIGATE THE MIDDLE every time you sit down to eat.

This is a practice! But also so worth putting the time into learning if it means you never have to follow another meal plan ever again.

So, are you in?

We already have an amazing community up and running on Facebook, and I cannot wait to get started with these ladies TOMORROW.

Let me know if you have any questions and be sure to enroll by midnight TONIGHT, I won’t be running this program again.
