I’ve actually been waiting all year for this, ha!

 ,

I have a quick little story for you today, and then I am going to be sharing something game-changing tomorrow … stay tuned.

Okay, so almost exactly a year ago, I was traveling in Australia, New Zealand and Bali with Neghar Foononi, one of my good friends and also a fellow fitness pro. We were at this great resort in Bali, when Neg says, “I’m going to do a quick yoga flow on the patio.”

You know I love lifting heavy and running fast (for no longer than 40 mins/day, ha!), but sometimes I have a hard time slowing down.

Every time someone inevitably asks me, “Oh, do you do yoga?” I give the standard meathead response of, “No, I but I NEED TO!”

Classic nonflexible-person answer.

So back to Bali. Neg gets started on her flow, and with the lush and beautiful background of Indonesia I’m feeling kind of spiritual and inspired so I think, why not. I jump in and we begin (I actually think the last time I did yoga was also with Neg in 2013 at the yoga retreat we initially met at, lol).

She takes me through a series of sun salutations and then some hip openers and finally some more restorative poses to finish up. I look at my watch and it’s only been 15 minutes.

But, I feel … amazing. It was just enough time. Somehow I am simultaneously relaxed and charged up at the same time.

I mention to Neg, why so quick tho?

She tells me she’s planning to create a series of shorter flows for people who hate don’t do yoga, but know they need to stretch. Maybe they lack the huge amount of activation energy it takes to go to a class, or legit just don’t want to take the time to stretch for 60-90 minutes.

YES. THAT’S EXACTLY ME.

And so Wildfire was born (it was initially going to be called 5-Minute Flows!)

It’s been a year, but I finally got my hands on Wildfire a few weeks ago, and I have been doing it 2-3 times a week since (okay, I was going to make tomorrow’s freebie a surprise, but I’m actually going to share one whole 8-minute video with you tomorrow—look out for it!), and I’m already feeling more flexible, loose and most importantly, centered.

I literally just finished a 7-minute flow here in my New York City hotel room, with one of Neg’s videos on my phone (yes, they’re mobile-friendly).

Okay, so if you are like me, and know you “should” be doing yoga or more stretching but literally just don’t make the time for it, or have a hard time falling in love with it, then grab Wildfire this week.

Wildfire is finally available and it’s only $21 for 21 days of super short (5-8 minute) yoga flows, created and shown on video by Neghar.

Tomorrow, I am going to share a whole video with you—along with a mini interview I did with Neg—so stay tuned for that, especially if you want to see if these yoga vids are going to be a good fit for you.

Until tomorrow.

Xo,
Jill
