It’s a blast, but I always catch flack from my friends about how intense the workouts are. They shame me on social media and threaten to unfriend, ha! Buuuut deep down they love that we are in and out in no time.
It’s been 12 years
since I started using Metabolic Effect’s Rest-based Training (RBT) concept. It’s been 6 years since I stopped doing hours and hours of cardio. And it’s been 3 years since I decided I would simply try to get away with the least amount of exercise possible to maintain my weight and my strength, while enjoying myself and looking like I actually work out, too.
And the culmination of that is about 30-40 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week. And normally no more than 10 minutes
of cardio per day.
That’s a high frequency of training, but short-duration. That’s high-intensity, but more psychologically satisfying because I know it will be over soon.
The way I train is high volume: a lot of reps, in the moderate to heavy weight range, crammed into a short amount of time. It’s quick, but it’s the most effective way I’ve found to train for body change.
And I just
finished taking over 5,000 women through these exact types of workouts in the #MetconMonster challenge, which ended yesterday. It was amazing to witness so many light bulbs going off for the participants, like when they’d finish a tough 12-minute workout and be completely spent.
It was just the evidence that so many of us need in order to see for ourselves that hours in the gym isn’t necessary to attain our goals.
And so, as promised, I
wanted to give you an opportunity to train with me this Fall, and to do that, I’ve put my two signature training programs, #treadLIFT and #FastPhysique at 50% discount today through Friday.
The differences between the programs - the Cliffs Notes version:
#treadLIFT is a 36-week treadmill + dumbbell-based program. If you are looking to lose inches, and get in and out of the gym in 30 minutes or less 3-4x/week,
this is the program for you. You can do these workouts at home if you have dumbbells.
#FastPhysique is a 9-week hardcore training program. If you are looking to build muscle, get strong af and are ready to commit 4-6 days a week at the gym (all workouts 40 minutes or less), this is the program
for you. You’ll need access to barbells and dumbbells.
The good news is that consistency always wins.
Which means, you don’t have to be at the gym for hours if you are showing up regularly. And because these workouts are so short, it lowers the threshold
for actually getting to the gym in the first place. You’ll be way more likely to keep it up.
The 50% off deal is only good through this Friday. So even if you’re not exactly ready to begin right now, if you are interested in doing one or both of these at some point, grab it now and you can start whenever you’re ready because you’ll have lifetime access.
Let me know if you have any questions! I’m all ears
;)

Jill
