#MetconMonster Challenge starts tomorrow – you in? (it’s free!)

Published: Tue, 01/09/18

Hey !

A quickie reminder that I am going to be hanging out over on Instagram for the next couple weeks doing the FREE #MetconMonster challenge with a bunch of peeps who are ready to get consistent for the new year.

The goal: Complete 8 metabolic conditioning workouts over 10 days (Jan 10-19th).

The workouts: All 30 minutes or less, some are even 15 minutes! You need access to at least a set of dumbbells to participate. More equipment the better, but these workouts can literally be done in your living room. I’ll be sharing PDFs for your phone, as well as short 1-min form videos you can watch if you are unsure about an exercise.

I’ll be giving you the exact workouts to do. Upon enrollment, you’ll receive 6 brand spankin’ new workouts for the gym or at home.

With these workouts, the key here is density. Metabolic conditioning (metcon) is about combining weight training + cardio to get a lot of work done in a shorter amount of time. You’ll be getting breathless, feel some burning in the muscles and will definitely have to rest at times.

But the good news is … that you can go at your pace.

Consistency beats everything else when it comes to getting healthy.

So find a way to make these workouts work for you. When can you fit them into your schedule? What days and times will you train? Do you have a partner? Will you start a little light so that you don’t get too sore that you give up (yes)? There’s plenty of time to go heavier and harder later.

But the point of the #MetconMonster challenge is to get you consistently training with weights. And doing it in a way that will be both effective and time-efficient.

Get all the details for the challenge right here, including how to share your workouts and how to stay accountable, and also the priiiiizes! Everyone who completes their 8 workouts will be entered to win some awesome loot and training with JillFit!

Okay? Okay.

See you on IG – everything starts tomorrow (Wednesday)!

Xo,
Jill
