Happy weekend, !
I wasn’t planning on emailing you today, but the questions about Best of You (BOY) have been coming in, and there’s a few things I want to clarify.
One, if you are not in the health/fitness space, yes, this program will be applicable to you. It’s a business course, so I’m not teaching fitness or nutrition, so the concepts—like branding messaging, digital content creation, program development, marketing sales, etc.—are transferrable across industries.
But, the one caveat is that the material is best for personal brands or where your face/voice/personality will be associated with the company. So, industry doesn’t matter as much, so long as you will be the primary content creator.
Next, questions about time investment and results.
Building your online coaching business will obviously take time, and the more you spend with it, the faster it will grow, period.
BUT, that doesn’t mean that you can’t make a ton of headway quickly, if you are implementing consistently and willing to take lots of uncomfortable action.
That’s exactly what Ashley Pardo did this year.
Ashley has been in BOY since January, after eyeing it for a couple years. She admitted to me that she’d been too scared to take the leap sooner, but now having been working with me for 5 months, she can’t believe she waited so long.
Ashley is a private chef cooking for clients in-person in Miami, FL and she joined BOY with the intention of moving her nutrition services online as a nutrition coach. She’d just finished up her website and just launched her podcast, Heart Food.
That’s it. No programs or products to sell yet. No email list. A small social media presence that she’d been trying to grow for a few months. No crazy certifications or degrees.
Just a gal with an expertise and lots of personal experience that can help others.
Enter BOY, and LOTS of imperfection action.
Ashley watched the tutorials, asked questions, admitted to me that she was terrified to share her full story on her podcast and social media, but was willing to rip off the Band-Aid and do it.
She took step after step, all the while never feeling totally confident or comfy. But over the last 5 months, she’s pressed publish on more posts, podcasts, freebies, online programs than she could have imagined.
And she just filled her first 6-week group coaching program with 20 women each paying $150. That’s an extra $3000 in 6 weeks.
And that’s only one program!
She’s been taking MASSIVE action and creating the business of her dreams, not by sitting on the sidelines and watching others
crush it. But by engaging, and learning and doing and growing and gaining confidence.
This is just the beginning.
I asked Ashley to pull back the curtain on her business for you, and she agreed.
