Hi ,
Hope you're having a great weekend!
The responses and tags and messages and posts I’m getting about #PhysiqueFinishers have been overwhelming!
Thank you, and I cannot wait to follow your progress, whether you're following the 6-week Lean-Only track or the 12-week Strong + Lean track, it’s so amazing and gratifying to see literally thousands of you off and running with these workouts.
As a reminder, #PhysiqueFinishers closes tomorrow (Monday August 27th) at midnight, so if you’ve been waiting to grab it, now is the time.
You can get all the details here.
Also want to answer a few FAQs real quick about the program that I’ve been getting on social media and via email, cool?
*********
Because these are called “finishers” – do we do them at the end of our workout or do
we just do these?
Traditionally we think of a finisher as something to “finish off” our workout, like a quickie burnout. BUT, these are programmed to be BOTH. Because they are on the
longer side of a finisher (up to 20 minutes in length), there are two tracks you can take, and one is standalone 5x/week (called “Lean-only” designed for fat loss) and the second is 3x/week (called “Strong+ Lean”) and it’s designed for you to add these to the end of your traditional weight training workout or whatever other program you’re doing to maintain your conditioning while you get stronger or add muscle. If you are doing the 5x/week track, you don’t need any other
exercise.
Can a beginner do these workouts?
Yes. Because these workouts utilize Metabolic Effect’s Rest-based Training principle, anyone can do these workouts because each person will rest as much and as often as they need to. There are also video tutorials for each workout, so you’ll know what movements we’re doing, and I’ve also included
regressions for movements that are high impact so you can do what works for your body. Lastly, you’ll also just start with a lighter weight!
How is #PhysiqueFinishers different than
#FastPhysique?
If you have purchased and done #FastPhysique, that’s amazing! That program is for muscle and strength gain, not necessarily fat loss. #FastPhysique workouts are longer
(all 40 minutes) and require access to a full gym. #PhysiqueFinishers are strictly metabolic conditioning workouts, all super short (5-20 minutes) and can be done as a standalone program or as part of a traditional strength training program. If your goal is muscle gain and strength gain, I recommend #FastPhysique, if your goal is fat loss, I recommend
#PhysiqueFinishers.
Can I do these workouts at home? What equipment do I need?
All workouts can be completed with a barbell and dumbbells, you do not need access to a gym to complete these workouts so long as you have a set of dumbbells at home. There is some cardio included but I’ve given options for that.
I’m a runner—will these workouts work for me?
First off, if you are a runner you DEFINITELY need to be doing strength training! The strength will help you run faster! AND off-set some of the stress-inducing effects of the long cardio. I recommend #PhysiqueFinishers for the length—they don’t take all day and you can still lift fairly heavy (just rest a lot!) and stay functional. But if
you are looking to build a lot of muscle/strength, then I’d go with #FastPhysique instead.
What format do the workouts come in?
All of the workouts are delivered via easy print-and-go PDF with accompanying video tutorials for every single individual workout with extensive form cues. The membership site is also mobile-friendly, so you’ll be
able to pull the PDFs and videos at the gym in real time, too.
What if I can’t exercise 3-5 days a week?
Yes, this will be a common concern, and warranted. Consistency is key, and by making the workouts 20 minutes or less, hopefully that provides a low barrier to entry. But bottom line, a lot of folks won’t be able to commit to 3-5 days a week, and that is fine.
You need to make it wok for you and your unique schedule and priorities. BUT, I don’t want you going into all-or-nothing mode, because the reality is that if you can even commit to at least 2-3 days a week of #PhysiqueFinishers, you will experience noticeable results. All you can do is your best. And even if you don’t get in 3-5 days a week, you’ll still get benefit.
How long will I have access to these workouts?
You have access to the #PhysiqueFinishers membership portal forever.
What if I am currently doing another
program?
Because I know people have their things like love to do on their own, there are TWO tracks included in #PhysiqueFinishers: one standalone 6-week track called the #DirtyThirty
(6 weeks x 5 workouts a week = 30 workouts), designed exclusively for fat loss. I don't recommend doing anything else if you are following this protocol.
The second track is for those who want
more muscle-building and strength-building, and it's a 12-week calendar with suggestions for how to fit these finishers into a standard/traditional strength training program. You'll be adding short finishers to your regularly scheduled programming, so yes, you can do these while also doing another program.
BUT, even if you are not ready to begin #PhysiqueFinishers right now, I would grab the program before tomorrow because I’m not sure when I’m opening the program again, and when I do the price will be double.
You can check out everything that’s included RIGHT HERE.
I hope this helps!
