Hi ,
Happy Cyber Monday!
A quick reminder that if you’ve been waiting to grab a spot in the 52-week Total Training Experience, complete fitness, nutrition + mindset solution for 2019, TODAY IS THE DAY.
TTE closes tonight, and the 50% discount goes away.
So, I’ve been getting some great questions about the program, and I want to take a sec to clarify a couple things.
You can read the complete list of FAQs on this page, but here are some key ones for you:
1) Are these workouts different than the ones in your other fitness programs (Fast Physique, #treadLIFT and Physique Finishers)?
YES. The workouts contained in TTE are not only new/different workouts, but they are full-length personal training workouts! Meaning, I am literally taking you through the entire workout myself, not just providing a quickie form video.
2) How hard are these workouts? Can beginners do them? What if I am just getting back into exercise?
Exercisers of any fitness level can do these workouts, mainly because they are Rest-based Training (RBT) workouts. This is a concept coined by Metabolic Effect that puts the exerciser in charge of their own rest—how often and for how long they rest. There are no structured rests listed, so you’ll hear me in the videos constantly telling you and encouraging you to rest. Not only does this make the workout safer by
giving you autonomy, it actually helps you push harder naturally since you know you can rest anytime. I will also encourage you to listen to your body. Plus, you can begin with body weight or light weights, and work your way up as you get stronger. And finally, I provide regression movements for some of the more intense moves, like jumping, plyometrics, etc.
3) What equipment will I need?
There are both home workouts AND gym workouts listed in the TTE. Home workouts require at least a set of moderate weight dumbbells, though 2 sets—one heavy and one light—is preferable. Gym workouts require access to barbells, benches, cardio equipment and even some pulley machines.
4) Can I take a look at a sample calendar to see if it will work with my goals for 2019?
Great question! I am not able to do this (although I show one briefly in this behind-the-scenes video) only because every month is different! There’s a method to how the months are programmed, and some months you’ll be doing more volume (5-6 days a week) and other months you’ll be doing less (3-4 days a week). Obviously, you need to make the schedules work for you, which is why I will always encourage consistency over
perfection. I’d rather a consistent 3 times a week forever, then a flash-in-the-pan 6 times a week for a month, and then nothing. All days’ workouts will be short, though. No hours’ long workouts!
5) How does the nutrition piece work?
So, as you know, there are over 50 workouts contained in the TTE and calendars for all months to follow. BUT, I do not provide meal plans or strict nutrition protocols to follow. The nutrition portion is an educational curriculum, delivered weekly via emails and short videos. I start you from the beginning, and teach you how to figure out what is going to work in your own life, long-term. I help you ask questions,
evaluate and assess what’s working and what’s not, and adopt a moderate approach. If you are looking for fat loss, that is possible. If you are looking for maintenance and ease, that is the goal. If you are looking for body change, you can achieve it. The PROCESS of figuring out your UNIQUE nutritional approach is something that will take a year to work through. I’ll be asking you to practice, and giving you short homework assignments along the way.
Please be aware that if you are not ready to take the long view when it comes to your eating, and figure out how to eat healthy forever, this program is not for you.
6) I’m injured, do I have to start it now? How long do I have access to the program?
Once you enroll, you have lifetime access to the TTE. You can begin anytime you are ready, once you’ve healed up, or wait until January. Or, you can jump right in now. We’ve had past students start the program over again, too! Whatever works for you.
Those have been the big questions. You can check out the full list of FAQs right here, just scroll to the bottom of the page
And of course, if you have any specific questions about your own situation, happy to answer, just respond back to this email ;)
Enrollment closes tonight at midnight PST.
