I can't believe it's almost the official kick-off of the summer, with Memorial Day next weekend! So many vacation days to take and so many books to read (not to mention tough workouts to fit in!). 

As promised, we have attached (to this email) your JillFit Summer Reading list. Since you follow JillFit, you know that our message is this:

Strive for physique greatness, but not at the expense of your emotional health. We blog often on how to marry the physical with the mental-emotional, as it relates to getting better. Can we still achieve optimal health and be mentally healthy too? In short, yes.

You can have a cookie and still like yourself after. AND in fact, beating up on yourself doesn't increase your motivation to exercise; it only makes you feel awful! So we say, stop it. Accept yourself, as is, but still get in the gym and kick your own ass. It's that simple :)

And so, our book recommendations are all about how to build your spiritual self to find deeper happiness and personal fulfillment, along with achieving your physique goals. In a nutshell, they are about GETTING BETTER.

So start anywhere, and aim for at least 1 book per month this summer. Read, introspect and have fun! Besides, learning about you should be fun!
