All of this is so important – the mental
awareness of food. It can be obsessive to the point of misery. I have been there, struggled for so many years, until I had the courage to try a new, moderate way, even if it meant giving up all the ways in which I felt I needed to eat to prevent weight gain (even when that stuff wasn’t working!) – goodbye, black-and-white approach!
Now, I’m a million times happier, still healthy and it’s a miracle, but I like my body better than I ever
have.
